Dear Current and Prospective HCTA Members,
On behalf of the board of the Harford Community Tennis Association, I would like to welcome you back for another exciting season of tennis, and to extend an invitation to new members to join us.
Our present officers of the board of directors are as follows: Myself- Bev Starn as president, Wendy Baur as Secretary, Kim Fleming as Treasurer, and currently we have Vice-President Open.
HCTA will continue to offer ladders and leagues. We currently have an active Mixed Double and Womens Singles Ladder.
HCTA will also be throwing its third annual Halloween Social, which is getting bigger and better each year.
The last two tennis seasons, Kim, Wendy, and I have been holding a tennis clinic to teach tennis to the Boys and Girls Club of Edgewood. It has been very successful. The kids really enjoy learning the sport of tennis.
It is that time of the year for our annual membership renewal. The membership period runs from Aug. 2019 - Aug. 2020. You need to have HCTA membership to play on the ladders and leagues. A sign indicating items paid by HCTA membership is displayed in the hall of ERTC.
Fees are: Individual $25.00, Family $45.00, and Junior (18 years or younger) $10.00. Names will not be added to the ladder until HCTA membership payments have been received.

FYI: Harford County also has teams participating in USTA Leagues.
These teams consist of Men's and Women's teams, as well as Mixed Doubles, Tri-Level and Combo.
